Highland Lake is one of the largest & deepest lakes in CT. You will find some of the best freshwater fishing in CT on this lake. There are over 7 miles of shoreline and plenty of deep hiding places for the residing fish species to hang out. The lake is popular with bass tournament anglers, trout enthusiasts, and the fishing public seeking bluegill, perch and other sunfish for fun or a fish fry. Highland Lake offers a public Boat Launch, The Marina at Highland Lake, also offers rental boats and other amenities to the public.

Highland Lake is stocked with more than 12,000 trout annually!
Where to Fish
You can fish from the shores around the lake, the boat launch area, the dock on the property, a canoe, or kayak or even a boat. If you don't have your own boat, boats can be rented from the marina in 1st bay.
